Meet the Founder

Founder and Coach, LaKisha Carpenter Papoutsakis, launched Worcester United Lacrosse the summer of 2021 as a foundation for youth development through athletics. Her inspiration laid a steppingstone for youth in the city of Worcester to gain self-confidence, leadership and team building skills through the sport of Lacrosse. WUL is a partnership between the City of Worcester, United Way and a non-profit organization called 508 Forever. To date we have been blessed to serve over three hundred youth, sharing not only the game of Lacrosse but its heritage, values, and discipline.

Worcester United Lacrosse is not just a sport it is an organization that is changing the way the game looks and who gets an opportunity to play. We are an inclusive organization bringing the sport of Lacrosse to underserved populations to make a more diverse experience for all, players, coaches, friends, and family alike.

WuLax, also partners with CTG Forever ctgforever.com to provide t-shirts and merch for youth. CTG Forever is an organization that aligns with the mission of Worcester United Lacrosse as they make an impact encouraging people to take pride in their life stories and absolutely love who they are and who they are becoming as a person…Changing the Game Forever.
